  I'm incredibly happy with Kiddie Kollege! My son is one of those kids that doesn't like people easily, but after 3 weeks, he stopped crying at drop off and even REACHES for his teachers. He was at a home daycare for almost three months prior and never got to that point. My MIL lived with us for almost six months and he never liked her! He's not had any diaper rash. He's always clean and happily playing when I go for pick up (and always random times due to my bizarre work schedule). All of the teachers in his clas (12-24months) are great. A couple of days after he started, one teacher (Sabrina) asked me if my son liked singing and she even knew his favorite song! I really appreciated this small detail, it shows that the children get individual attention. Alex the lead teacher is wonderful and patient and my son loves her as well. I would be really annoyed if dealing with a parent like me (haha!), but they're all sweet! :) ** edited to add: My son's behavior has also improved. What actually prompted me to review is the fact that he helped me clean up his toys yesterday! Also he's better with diaper changes and washing his face and hands. He has learned some annoying words (no and mine), but he's also singing and doing the motions for many more songs and even 'singing' his ABCs at 18 months! His teachers told me that he loves their circle time and it shows.

  The owners/directors are rude and uncaring. They would put a 5 month old down in the crib with a bottle which is not allowed at any reputable daycare. Would not recommend this place! Find another daycare!

  Kiddie Kollege is an outstanding facility. There is little to no staff turn-around and some have been there twenty years. They all know each child personally as well as who is authorized to pick up. We are extremely impressed with the training and experience of the staff. We were also amazed at just how well our child adapted to and performed in VPK. The teachers are very involved with the children and are well respected by the kids. We've never seen or even heard of any events involving unruliness by other kids or rough play. The playground is very safe and better than any daycare facility in south Tampa. We have personal experience with other facilities and have researched probably a dozen more and can say unquestionably that we have complete trust in Kiddie Kollege and would recommend this facility to anyone. As to the other comment complaining about pick up policies, the school did the right thing. Court papers can be easily forged although not typical and without other clearance or authorization it was ethically and legally proper to deny pick up from anyone not authorized or on the pick up list, especially since there was an ongoing child protective services investigation. It is always better to be safe than sorry until the particulars are figured out - the children's safety is always first.
